What is it about?

We looked at the impact of self-reported substance in adolescence on poor physical health in middle-adulthood. We found that involvement in a deviant lifestyle reduced this relationship to non-significance, suggesting that risks involved in participating in a deviant lifestyle were more salient than drug use, per se.
