What is it about?

Burn wounds contaminated by microorganisms, skin mycobiome, and airborne fungi are the source of fungal contaminants. The work screened the burn wounds fungi, sterile swabs were collected and pure cultures were prepared for identification and recording of several isolates.

The isolation and identification of fungi associated with burns wounds were listed. The study clarified that not only only bacteria are the causes of the non-rapid healing of burns , but also molds may involved.
