What is it about?
The research samples the views of individuals regarding artificial insemination considering the strong religious and cultural inclination of Nigerians in a technological age, in a globalised world. The research is appalled at the percentage of opposition from religious perspectives. in effect, the technological-solving technique to overcome childlessness is not of god. The view is a clear indication of a reluctant acceptance of assisted reproductive technologies.

Why is it important?
The study is important because there is a need to consider the percentage of women who exist in the population who wish to have children, but have difficulty conceiving. However, our findings reveal strong opposition from the major religions, while the practice also contracts the African cultural norms.
Perspectives
Being a part of this research furthered my belief that there is a need for individual liberty to choose based on needs and preferences, rather than a collective imposition against positive alternative realities.
