This study presents a novel, testable model of interocular-grouping during rivalry and provides a major review of such visual phenomena. It was also featured on the front cover of the journal issue by way of the caloric vestibular stimulation (CVS) technique, which was used to demonstrate evidence for the new 'meta-rivalry' model.
