Antibiotic drug conjugate

What is it about?

Tuberculosis treatments have not considered ways to target drugs to the granuloma via conjugation with an antibody to my knowledge. This commentary proposes we should try it and learn from the work in cancer.

Why is it important?

A provocative commentary suggesting the TB field might want to look at targeting the granuloma via an antibiotic drug conjugate mimicing the success in cancer of antibody drug conjugates. Advantages - one shot treatment, few off target effects
