What is it about?

This article is about examination of effect of the creative training on the creative thinking and problem solving of students in visual arts higher education. Thus, a creative training program was invented by author as related to curriculum to examine effect of this program on thinking skills. During one semester, this training was implemented visual arts education students.

Why is it important?

This study revealed that the creative training programs as a set of learning, can be utilized to develop students' creative thinking skills. This situation is very important to develop new learning settings in specific topics to take effective outcomes. By this study, new findings were provided for the literature. Also, new clarifications under the light of present findings were brought in the creativity research in terms of understanding interaction of the creative thinking and problem solving in learning environment.

Perspectives

This study covers in wide of range learning aspects of various education disciplines beyond the visual arts education area regarding the development of the creative thinking through a specific training set.
