What is it about?

This paper reports on the findings of a travel survey, travel distance and time data analysis and GIS analysis to demonstrate how the intent of New Urbanism can be let down by poor implementation of associated policy. The case study is Perth, Australia where application of Liveable Neighbourhoods Design Code has not yielded the transport sustainability results anticipated.
