What is it about?

Discharge of untreated and/or poorly treated effluent into aquatic environment is a common phenomenon in Nigeria, just as in other part of the world. We examined the effect of untreated pharmaceutical effluent on cardiac function in mice, using Na/K and Ca/Mg ATPase assays.
