What is it about?
We divided up particles based on size -- this was done useing a new appraoch that was able to physically seperate very small particles (much smaller than a human hair). The metal concentrations on the particles were then measured and determined that very small particles had higher metal concentrations.

Why is it important?
Very small particles are a challenge to remove in stormwater management practices, therefore the increased associated metal content may be detrimental to receiving waters.
