What is it about?

This paper describes a teaching development in a radiography course where the content of the lectures was recorded and placed online with a copy of accompanying notes, students were expected to watch/read these materials prior to tutorials and therefore time with lecturers became used for discussion of difficult concepts and small group work. This is an early example of what has come to be known as the flipped classroom or he flip classroom.
