What is it about?

It is about using multi-wavelength laser or laser array in free space optical (FSO) networks. The paper talks about different noises like shot noise, thermal noise, RIN and OBI related to multi-wavelength laser source and their influence on FSO networks. In the evaluation, optical code division multiple access technique has been utilized as well.

Why is it important?

If you want to evaluate the effects of noises in FSO, evaluate OCDMA with laser source, this paper would be useful.

Perspectives

It took long time to I could combine different technologies and derive a model for SAC-OCDMA in FSO. I think this paper would be useful even for people who their works are not exactly in the same subject. The method of the evaluation is informative.
