What is it about?

We compared the early events following muscle injuries by cardiotoxin and glycerol.

Why is it important?

The early events explain the difference in regeneration between the two injury models.

Perspectives

This study demonstrated differences in the possible target, cellular infiltration and the mechanism of muscle damage between CTX-induced and glycerol-induced injuries. The early events following injuries induced by CTX and glycerol might explain the difference in regeneration between the two models.
