What is it about?

This article will give a multi-objective optimization of welding parameters by considering the response Impact strength and Cracking Percentage. Hence in this multi-objective optimization, Grey Relational Analysis has been used to study the combined effects of parameters on these properties.

Why is it important?

It is an important since both the objectives impact strength and cracking percentage are optimized so as to achieve better parameter settings. Our objective is to reduce the cracking percentage and increase the impact strength of the weld metal. This has been achieved through the use of the GRA technique.

Perspectives

While attempting this number of techniques have been used. The reason for choosing this technique is it gives the best solution for multi-objective optimization. The solution obtained the best parameter settings that yield high impact strength and low cracking percentage.
