What is it about?

Pathological calcifications are present in every parts of the body. There are a lot of chemical compounds which have been identified. In kidney, a Relationship has been established between their structural and chemical characteristics and the pathology. Is it true for other organs? This answer is not evident ?

Why is it important?

Now, physical techniques can bring information even in the case of very small samples (micrometers). If there is a Relationship between pathological calcifications and desease, such property indicates that early diagnosis can be performed.
