What is it about?

In the ER, time is a crucial player in patient's outcome, thus, improving the tools used in ER to reach the diagnosis is mandatory. In this article, we found several factors that should be taken into account upon CT scan interpretation for patients presenting with neurological symptoms suspicious for cerebrovenous sinus thrombosis. age, gender, and hemoglobin level are all affect CT attenuation as following: An old, polycythemic, male will has higher attenuation compared with a young, anemic, female who will has the lowest attenuation.
