What is it about?
We apply a new statistical method, namely the Maximum Likelihood Estimator, to extrapolate the best statistics underlying the distribution of fracture parameters in fracture network.

Why is it important?
This methods allows to compute more accurate up-scaled models of the natural fracture networks in rocks, useful to characterise fractured rock volumes in the subsurface.
