Synthesis and characterization of Conjugated polymer based on oligobenzo[c]thiophene towards solar cell applications. DFT studies give more information on the molecular orbitals of this polymer.

Why is it important?

Going from organic molecules to polymer, understanding the electronic structure is mandatory to design newer molecules towards hetero-junction solar cell applications.
