Why is it important?

To help the reader to understand the thought process of why you choose a particular implant to repair an injury to the lower end of the forearm and the pitfalls in the existing literature.

Perspectives

I decided to write this article because during my training, different surgeons had their preferences which often was not based on science. There were many issues in the literature which caused a variety of biases to affect the results and it is important to be able to identify those issues
