Why is it important?
There is a shortage of auto and allograft, also involves high cost, which is necessary for revision hip surgery. Alternative options are explored such as Apapore, with view to reduce the burden on allograft stores. We looked at the results of APAPORE, which is synthetic bone graft used in revision hip surgery in our institution.
Perspectives
Our results confirms that it is safe and effective to use synthetic bone graft. It is cost effective and reduces the burden on allograft stores
