What is it about?
We pooled the available evidence on non-prescription dispensing of antibiotics in community pharmacies around the world. Our findings revealed that this practice is very common.

Resistance to antibiotics is becoming a global public health challenge. Access to antibiotics without prescription from authorized health practitioners could contribute to the challenge.
