Composition and Ecotoxicological impacts of soil conditioning agents used in TBM to excavate rocks

What is it about?

The composition and the potential impact on ecological targets of 3 different soil conditioners has been investigated. Soil conditioners are used in mechanized tunneling to enhance TBM performances. In this paper, we analyzed the chemical composition of 3 commercial mixtures and the effects on acquatic (daphnia magna) and terrestrial organisms (Eisenia andrei and higher plants).
