Why is it important?
We found the forward primer NEMO-exon5-6 from the Table 1 of the the paper by Hsiao has a same mismatch base to both the NEMO gene and the deltaNEMO pseudogene.So the Primers NEMO-exon5-6 will amplify both the NEMO gene and the deltaNEMO pseudogene in the PCR.
Perspectives
New primers specific for the NEMO gene should be design to research the mutation in the paper by Hsiao.
