What is it about?
Even though the standing position is fundamental for CPR in cases of IHCA, there are two available options which were for a rescuer to perform CPR in the positions kneeling on a bed or standing on a footstool. We assessed the depth of chest compression during CPRs performing in these three positions.

Why is it important?
This is a randomized, controlled crossover mannequin study. This study shows that performing CPR in position kneeling on a bed or standing on a footstool had a better effect on chest compression, whatever it meant its mean depth or adequate number, rather than just performing CPR in standing position.
