What is it about?
A total of 86 single crowns were manufactured. The zirconia core was digitally processed except fot the veneering procedure. Occlusal adjustment were made before the ceramic glazing procedure. A dual curing self adhesive resin cement was used. Follow up was established for 12, 24 and 36 months

Why is it important?
All the restorations were still in place at 3 years giving a 100% survival rate. Chipping rate of the veneering porcelain increrased over time, giving a success rate of almost 70%
Perspectives
In my opinion, single crown restorations allow an optimal application of the digital workflow. Zirconia is one material among many others that are suitable for prosthesis fabrication. It's up to the dental professional to choose the most appropriate one according to the clinical situation
