Densities of synthetic coal mine methane

What is it about?

In this work we present accurate experimental density data of a multicomponent mixture with a composition similar to that of coal mine methane.

Why is it important?

These data are of special importance for testing the current equations of state for gas mixtures. Although these are accurate for natural gases, the significant difference in composition of new fuels (biogas, coal mine methane...) makes it necessary to test them with new experimental data.
