What is it about?

In this work we present accurate experimental density data of two mixtures of carbon dioxide and nitrogen in the gas phase.

Why is it important?

These data are of special importance for testing the current equations of state for natural gas mixtures. The densities presented have a high accuracy and are the newest available data for the studied mixtures. Data are analyzed together with those of a previous publication and a shift of the equation from the experimental data is observed for higher content of carbon dioxide and lower temperatures.
