What is it about?
The study develops a measurement scale to evaluate the level of green competencies in the Indian context. Green competencies is viewed in perspectives such as green knowledge, green skills, green abilities, green attitude, green behaviour and green awareness. The study also adds that the importance of providing green training in an organisation to disseminate green competencies among the employees in an organisation.

Why is it important?
Environmental degradation and climate change are common threat that the humanity is facing in the real life. Hence, change in human behaviour can influence the level of pollution, increase energy efficiency and likewise. In this regard, it is inevitable for the employees in an organisation to be green competent and reduce their carbon footprint.
