What is it about?

We used here electron theoretical calculations to calculate the phase diagram and thermodynamic properties of alloys between Titanium and iron

Why is it important?

Thermodynamic properties are important to control processes and the possibility of doing this without any other information than the atomic number of the components (the so called ab initio methods) allows the determination of these properties without experiments.

Perspectives

This was an interesting collaboration with my colleague from Peru, Prof. Guillermo Orneño.
