What is it about?

This short paper reports a child with anisometropic amblyopia (lazy eye due to being more long sighted in one eye than another) who focused normally for near in the better eye, however the amblyopic eye simultaneously focused dramatically more in the distance than for near.

To our knowledge this is the first report of such asymmetrical and atypical accommodation.
