Why is it important?
To give some brief statements found through this review: immediate loading improves osseointegration in presence of primary stability, delayed and progressive loading is indicated when biomaterials are used for bone regeneration, the animal model for in vivo experimentation should be selected carefully as animal bone reaction under dental implant manipulation has marked differences compared to humans
Perspectives
Here is some scientific background about bony tissue, which is the basis point of implant dentistry and which should be accurately studied in order to get optimal implant success rate. I think we should know more about bone rather than titanium!
