What is it about?

Many of the compounds described in the literature on the chemistry of 3,4-thiadiazine class are biologically active. The conducted study depicted the novel anti-stress action of the compound from this class.

Why is it important?

A significant contribution of the stress response to pathogenesis of diverse medical problems triggered a search for new specialized and non-specialized anti-stress agents. Some of the new compounds may further become the drugs for such a great variety of diseases from PSD to myocardial infarction.

Perspectives

At present, there are no drugs that affect the stress response. Wherein the search in this field is very important for medicine, as in case of success, can significantly improve the treatment of serious disease and lower the mortality rate.
