What is it about?
Colonoscopy is a semi-invasive procedure which can damage parts of colon and other structures. It can damage spleen as well. It is unclear who is at higher risk of this complication. We analyzed the case reports and series. Whites >60 yrs old who needed >30 minutes time had more chance of having this complication.
