Why is it important?
Ample evidence indicates that this plant, with antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-aging, and anti-inflammatory effects, could also prevent exaggerate collagen production and accumulation and induce changes in immune responses, as well; the majority of these properties could be attributed to the plant’s polyphenolic, in particular, catechin compounds.
Perspectives
This article is about the effect of "Green tea" on wound healing. It is the first one in this field and patent No. 73713, entitled "Preparation and Processing of Herbal Ointment to Treat Burn and Surgery Wound Based on Alcoholic Extract of Green Tea", has been obtained.
