Why is it important?
Our model compensates for the shortcomings of traditional contact thermal resistance models, making the heat flux distribution on the contact surface more physically meaningful.
Perspectives
We are writing this article in the hope that researchers can apply our proposed more accurate formula for contact thermal resistance in the future, especially by improving the traditional contact thermal resistance model of the thermal discrete element method.
