The work introduces a way of predicting the local heat transfer coefficient in the combustion chamber of a circulating fluidized bed combustor by the fuzzy logic approach.

Why is it important?
The performed model constitutes a useful, easy to implement, non-iterative tool capable to predict local bed-to-wall heat transfer coefficient in the CFBC with an accuracy of 4%.
Perspectives
Fuzzy logic approach have high potential and can be considered as an alternative method compared with other technics of data handling.
