It provides researchers particularly those who are working on developing materials for wound care, a deeper insight of how blending & compositing polymeric matrix with nanomaterials enhance its hemostatic potential, mechanical & biological properties which are desirable in wound care.

Perspectives

I wrote this article after conducting a thorough research on chitosan based hemostatic bandages and how it can be utilized in theranostic applications. It gives material scientist a quick review of reported blends and composites with performance indicators and a deeper mechanistic insight.
