What is it about?

This publication covers synthesis of hydrazone schiff bases and their respective Triorganotin(IV) complexes. All the synthesiszed compounds are chracterized using shophisticated analytical techniques{IR, multinuclear NMR(1H, 13C, Sn119) spectroscopy and single crystal XRD}. Biological applications of these compounds were also studied(like antibcterial, antifungal,brineshrimp lethality, alpha amylase inhibition, TAC, TRP free radical scavenging assay).

Why is it important?

This publication provides a comparitive analysis of trimethyl, tribenzyl and triphenyl tin compounds and their biocidal applications are also compared with positive controls which makes this research article beneficial for the reader.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has Prof. Dr.Imtiaz-Ud-Din as a co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaboration and this article leads to the comparitive analysis of Triorganotin complexes using hydrazide and hydrazone ligands along with their biocidal applications.
