A typology of export patterns

What is it about?

We defined several types of exporters based on their age at starting to export, export share and number of markets at that time, but also on whether their exports declined or even stopped later or not.

Why is it important?

We showed that in Estonia, most exporters had experienced export decline. Also, we showed that re-entering some markets was quite common, too.
