What is it about?

Biological systems offer major adaptivity, resilience and more, advantages which are here put in use in specifying the architecture of quantum computing systems . Is especially analyzed the signalling and control in quantum computing systems and functionality akin that in biological systems. The paper in addition provides avenues for implementation exploiting advances in particle physics and materials science , some of which have been prototyped.

Why is it important?

Two unique features of the research , is to exploit the advantages in biological systems signalling and control , and besides to offer architectural features with links to particle physics effects, enabling together much more efficient and adaptive quantum computation. A mathematical result is developped contributing to the decidability in quantum computing via signalling tags to quantum flows.

Perspectives

This research is part of a major on-going effort , where , in parallel , specific experimentation and prototyping tasks are carried out.
