The present study was aimed at designing and synthesizing a series of imine stilbene analogs and investigate its anti hypertrophic effects and regulatory mechanism in cardiac hypertrophy and apoptosis.

the low bio-avilalbility of resveratorol problem was also addressed by the application of green chemistry in synthesis of new Imine Stilbene analogues.

Perspectives

our data showed compound 3e has anti-hypertrophic activity as it could pharmacologically inhibit the potential targets that have regulatory mechanisms in cardiac hypertrophy. Undoubtedly, the initial studies have highlighted the therapeutic role of a resveratrol derivative which can impact the cross-talk between the integrated signaling networks controlling the entire myocardial growth process.
