Bisphenol A (BPA) is synthetic compound used in the preparation of poly carbonate plastics, cash receipts and thermal papers. We have elucidated the crystal structure of Dinitrobisphenol (DNBPA) which is a triclinic crystal system. Literature suggests that DNBPA is a genotoxic chemical.
