What is it about?

In this study we developed a model to simulate and after that, to configure an active packaging with a moisture adsorber to preserve fresh tomato.

Why is it important?

This predictive model can be used to increase the tomato shelf life because with this is possible to minimize the generation of moisture inside the package.

Perspectives

From this study we are developing a improved model to configure active packages with a combined moisture adsorption and antifungal control in the preserving of frech produce.
