What is it about?
The endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms or aortic dissections when compared to open surgery treatment is less invasive and present lower morbidity, mortality. The objective of thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) is to achieve complete exclusion of the aneurysmal sac using prostheses inside it without complications. However, adverse events can occur, such as infection of the prosthesis, persistence of blood flow in the aneurysmal sac after endovascular repair or after aortic dissection treatment.

Perspectives
Overall, the paper might contribute showing that we need a more robust evidence in the field of TEVAR conversion in the future.
