Why is it important?

We present an interesting case of a ruptured pseudo-aneurysm and an aortobronchial fistula (ABF) successfully managed with endoluminal stent graft. The patient has survived more than 15 years after this procedure.

Perspectives

Acute complications in the thoracic aorta can be fatal. Aortobronchial fistulas are extremely rare, with less than 100 publications in the English literature. Long term survival after endovascular stent grafting is described here.
