Why is it important?
School districts matter as they support schools, teachers and students in the educational process. An effectively organized school district is better able to perform this task. Our framework allows measurement of this effectiveness such that school districts can benchmark their performance.
Perspectives
Defining 'organizational effectiveness' affects the evaluation given to districts. Our nonparametric approach allows the data to speak for itself and provide a fair comparison of school districts.
