What is it about?
The paper reviews compressed-sensing-inspired reconstruction algorithms in low-dose CT and discusses the possibilities of using such algorithms in commercial CT.

Why is it important?
Some of the algorithms under consideration are already ready for implementation in clinical CT practice. Others are promising. It is important to systematize them and understand which of them should be paid attention to first.
Perspectives
There are certainly prospects for implementing algorithms into commercial CT. The transition from integral algorithms to iterative ones is already underway. And some compressed sensing algorithms have already received FDA approval for biomedical imaging.
