What is it about?

AKAP350 is a scaffold protein that integrate PKA and other signalling proteins in the same complex. In the present work we described that, beyond its role in centrosomal nucleation of microtubules, AKAP350 participates in the regulation of microtubule dynamics favoring microtubule elongation. Concomitantly, the decrease in AKAP350 elicits an increase in cdc42 expression and activation in conditions of induction of microtubule regrowth.
