An oubreak associated with the pork products comsuption by monophasic Salmonella Typhimurium and other Salmonella

Why is it important?

The case-control study found the source of infection (dried pork sauge) and finish the outbreak with the withdrawal of the product. In Spain is the second outbreak that these monophasic Salmonella Typhimurium has been found. The all epidemiologic chain (source, foodvehicle and patients) was well established
