What is it about?

We detailed in this study a new dataset (thermochronological data) that aimed to unravel the cooling dynamic or rocks at depth. This method allows to unravel building phases of the mountain ranges (implication of tectonic faults, erosion...). These data can be freely reused and discussed.

Why is it important?

This dataset is the first one allowing to explore this remote area of Peru, unexplored before.

Perspectives

This dataset can be reused for broader understanding of the Andes building; as well as to further calibrate thermochronological method on apatites that aimed at determining cooling of rocks.
