What is it about?
One of the basic tasks engaged during social interactions is identifying others' emotional experience. Accurate and quick detection and evaluation of others’ emotions may provide a preliminary understanding of their future potential modes of action. However, an inevitable influence of the evaluator's emotional experience on his or her performance is expected. The present study investigates a possible congruency relationship between the evaluator's emotional experience at a given time and observable emotional markers of others.
